My name is Nora. I got veneers done, eight on top, eight on bottom. I came to Dr. Mortensen because I knew that he was one of the best doctors around here in Orange County. The thing I like most about Dr. Mortensen is his patience, and his attitude, and his desire to just be a perfectionist. Before I came to Dr. Mortensen my teeth were a mess. Like, it was just embarrassing, never wanted to show teeth, never did. So it was a definite disaster, I would say. There was never a picture I had with teeth showing ever. Up until even my senior picture in high school, all my year book pictures, any of them. It was just definitely something that I try to cover as much as I can. So for a girl as far makeup I wouldn't do lip stick because I don't want to draw attention to my mouth. So, I would just, it came down to anything, trying to hide it as much as possible. The actual process of the day of surgery, I came in. We did do top and bottom together. Yeah. I didn't want to do two separate ones. I was in here for a good half a day. He spent the entire time on me. You know, he was so dedicated to me, only me and that day. It was long. It didn't hurt, nothing hurt. It was good. Now it's just a matter of having to take care of it, flossing every day, twice a day sometimes. The sedation was great because I had the TV on in the room. I had my iPod. He was working with a couple more nurses. It was great; it really was. They were trying to make it as comfortable for me as possible. The sedation was just the mouth, the numbness in my mouth. I was wide awake. I knew everything that was going on. I was very conscious. I even got up and went to the restroom if I had to. It was easy, definitely easy. Since I did get these done, I smile all the time. No matter what it is, I don't hide my teeth. I don't hide anything. It's been amazing. It's been probably the best feeling, but it's just amazing. Words can't even explain. Words can't explain how it's definitely changed my life. No joke, it's been unbelievable. It's been about a year now. It's been about a year and to be honest it's been one of the best years of. It's just I have nothing to worry about. I have nothing to hide you know, it's just so rewarding, honestly. It's great. I would recommend this procedure to everybody. Anybody who needs it, who needs cosmetic dentistry done, 100 percent, no questions asked. I come here for my cleaning now. This is my dentist now. At first, i thought it would just be cosmetic. I'll be in and out, never have to deal with it again, but I just like him so much, I left my own dentist.
