After graduating from Northwestern University's Dental School in 1979, Dr. Mortensen moved to the state of California to begin his general and cosmetic dentistry career path.
Even though his career as a dentist spans six decades, Dr. Mortensen still takes continuing education courses to stay on top of new and improving dental techniques and practices.
Dr. Mortensen is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an honor bestowed on only a few hundred dentists in the United States. From his educational background to his awards and accolades, you can count on our dentist to handle all of your dental care needs.

Katie Ledesma, RDA
Erika has been a dental assistant since the early 2000s and has been an immense help to Dr. Mortensen since the early 2010s. Our patients love Katie's energetic and friendly personality.
Erika Lieber, RDH
Erika has been a dental hygienist since the early 2000s and has been an integral part of Dr. Mortensen's staff since the early 2010s. With a gentle touch, Erika will make sure your teeth are squeaky clean.
